Great Books Discussion Series for Educators – “\’in-glish\”

I am always touched when “\’in-glish\” finds a new audience. It’s still hard for me to believe that such a personal story has resonated with so many people. Great Books Foundation contacted me earlier this year to ask if they could include my piece in their books for middle-graders (specifically the one for Grade 6 in the US school system). I’m a huge supporter of education and educators, so I was happy to agree.

Great Books have also asked to use my piece as part of their free discussion series exclusively for educators, which will be taking place in late May (details here). If you are an educator and are interested in learning more about their Shared Inquiry method, please sign up through their website. They also provide a free copy of my piece (and you can see a snazzy photo of me).

If you do join, please let me know how it goes and if there were anything interesting discussed!
